On September 18, a landmark event took place in Ukraine - the 1st Sports Law Forum, which brought together leading lawyers and representatives of the sports industry. The event became a platform for a professional discussion on how law and sports interact and influence each other.

Yevhenii Promsky, Chairman of the Sports Law Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, and a lawyer for the company, participated in the Forum from the Ares Law Company.

In his report, he emphasized that sports are not only competitions, emotions and victories, but primarily a complex system of legal relations. Each of its elements - from an athlete or club to federations and fans - requires proper legal protection and clear rules of the game.

Yevhenii Promsky shared an analysis of the practice of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) with the participation of Ukrainian athletes and clubs. He specifically focused on anti-doping proceedings, as well as contract disputes, which have significantly influenced the development of sports law.

According to Yevheniy, the key task of lawyers in this area is to create conditions under which sport in Ukraine will develop honestly, transparently, and in accordance with international standards.
